Does My Computer Need Preventative Maintenance?

What would be your response if we changed “computer” to “yourself”?  Do you need preventative maintenance?  How about brushing your teeth, going for annual physicals, going to the gym….?  Now, we can’t compare ourselves to a piece of equipment, but as we get older we realize that sometimes a little “maintenance” can go a long way to our health and well-being.

So what is needed for your computer?  It’s not rocket science, but at least twice a year we recommend that one of our trained professionals performs a series of tests and tasks to keep things running smoothly and efficiently.  Is twice a year the right number?  That depends on a number of factors – the age of your computer, the dependence you have on it, do you use if for strictly personal use or do you run a home based business?  If the answer to any of the previous questions is yes, then you should increase the number of times we perform our maintenance services.

So what will this cost?  Not doing maintenance incurs a cost to you in terms of lost time, patience and sanity!  Seriously, how much time do you waste with a slow computer or one that crashes or just doesn’t operate to your satisfaction?  As to what it costs for us to maintain your PC, that number could be a couple hundred dollars a year, or sign up for one of our Concierge Plans and shave quite a bit off that number.  Our Basic Plan is only $29.95 a month, do you think that your time and patience are worth less than $30?

If you are a home-based or small business, then the stakes are even higher!  If your systems are slow or not working this will lead to lost sales, lost productivity and efficiency.  Why do you think trucking companies have maintenance plans on their fleets?  Because, all savvy business owners realized that maintenance saves them money over time, lots of money!  If you are a home based or small business owner, give me a call or email me and I would be happy to discuss how we can get you on the right program.

Feel like you’ve got it? For more information on the technology pertaiing to you home visit our FAQ page, Resource Center or send us a quick chat! We’re happy to help.
