Did you know we started out in Lexington back in the day? You see that For Rent sign above the Lexington House of Pizza? Yep, that was the headquarters for Geek Housecalls for a number of years, above a pizza place in Lexington! Because of that and many more reasons, Lexington has a special significance for our business. Even though we are called Tech Help Boston, beneath it all we are still a bunch of geeks with a passion for helping people with their PC’s, Macs and other gadgets and gizmos.
Most (if not all) of you have spoken to Ron Chait, our Lead Dispatcher. Ron sat facing out of one of those windows taking your calls for many years with the scent of pizza wafting up from down below. Although we aren’t physically located in Lexington anymore (we are one of those hip, virtual companies where all of us work out of our home offices), our hearts and history are still deeply rooted in the community.
My predecessor and the founder of Geek Housecalls, Dave Ehlke, was a resident of Lexington up until his retirement, and over the years we have developed a very strong client following because of it. So even though we are all “high tech,” we are still just a bunch of geeks who established our business above a pizza parlor in Lexington — and we’re very proud of it!
