Earth Day and Recycling

Did you know Earth Day was on April 22nd this year?  If you haven’t heard or you are interested check out their website – http://www.earthday.org/ .

This leads us to today’s question we get frequently … “Do you recycle?” or “What do we do with our old PC/Mac or monitor?”.

Well, the answer is yes to all of the above for recycling and as to what to do with your equipment we can help!

Each week we deliver old PC’s, Mac’s and old monitors to a facility in Waltham that will recycle these items responsibly for us.  We do charge a fee – $25 for each piece ($50 for an iMac or “all in one PC”) which is what the facility charges us.  We do this as a service to you our clients, but also to our community as there are many toxic and harmful chemicals and elements in these devices and we dont want them ending up in landfills or such polluting our environment.

So instead of this …

We end up with this …

If you have something that needs to be recycled let us know, or if we are replacing your computer with a new one dont forget to ask for our recycling service.
