Has your iPhone 7 been showing “No Service” even when you’re certain the signal is fine? If you’ve had this problem for some time, we have great news for you.

Apple Acknowledges Long-Running Rumor

We’ve heard numerous rumors of a “No Service” bug affecting iPhone 7 models for quite some time. It turns out these reports have been spot on.

In a statement, Apple revealed it has determined a “small percentage” of iPhone 7 units having such a problem. Some iPhone 7 handsets are reportedly showing “No Service” when there is signal available. The problem stems from a faulty logic board, so a hardware repair will be necessary.

iPhone 7 units made between September 2016 and February 2018 could be the ones affected. Those sold in the USA, Japan, China, Hong Kong and Macau are said to be the ones particularly at risk of having the bug.

Apple Offers Free Repairs

When your iPhone 7 is among those exhibiting the “No Service” bug, Apple will repair it for free. In case you’ve already paid for such a repair at the Genius Bar, the company also promises to reimburse you. Get more details regarding this repair offer on the link shown.

NOTE: If your device’s screen is cracked, you will have to get that fixed before Apple proceeds with resolving the unit’s “No Service” problem.
