On to our question …
I regularly get a prompt to update an application or even Windows? I’m afraid that if I answer it incorrectly, something will blow up! What should I do when this happens?

This is a very common dilemna! We all hear about data breaches of hacks and we know that keeping our computer secure is important, BUT there are times when you these prompts are unclear at best. Take a look at the real example below. I dont think a computer scientist from MIT would be comfortable answering this!!
So, what do you do? It’s easy – if its a Windows Update or similiar prompt from a Microsoft application like Word, Excel, etc. go ahead and say “Yes” or “Allow”. If its not and you are really not sure – email or call our office and we can help to determine if this is something you want to allow or not.
Let me know how it goes and keep those questions coming!
